Work with a purpose

As a Support Worker with Rehabilitation Support Services you will be supported by our qualified and caring team who will help you achieve your professional goals whilst you’re supporting our Participants to reach theirs! Our Support Workers and our Participants are at the centre of what we do, and your job satisfaction is important to us. Before you start working with a Participant, we will send you their profile to review, provide further details with Participant’s support plan, and arrange a paid buddy shift to see if the two of you gel.

If it’s a good match we will facilitate further shifts, or we can connect you with an alternative Participant where the ideal match has not yet been found.

Support Workers receive a comprehensive induction including online and in person training, biannual continuing professional development and supervision from our Care Coordinator. Our caring Allocations Coordinators are just a phone call away and are available 24/7 if you need support whilst providing services.

If this is the environment you’d like to work in we look forward to receiving your Expression of Interest form through completing the below form.

Skills, qualifications, experience and training

We require all our Support Workers to align with our Values and Purpose, which you can read more about on the About Us tab.

We don’t need you to have any formal qualifications or experience to work with us but we welcome it if you do.

We do however require you to have Australian working rights, a current driver’s licence and insured vehicle to drive during your shifts.

We require you to have a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children’s Check, Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.

As part of your induction we’ll need you to complete the following online training: NDIS Worker Orientation Module, New Worker NDIS Induction Module, Medication Management, Infection Control, Work Health and Safety and Professional Boundaries.
